Anders Behring Breivik: A Christian Terrorist

Anders Behring Breivik: A Christian Terrorist

To those—among them some Muslims—who might ask, “Why insert ‘Christian’ before ‘Terrorist’?”, I say, “And why not?” Have not European and American nations glued various variations of the words ‘Islam’ and ‘Muslims’ to all variations of the word ‘terror’? Why is it alright for anyone to connect Islam to terrorism because of the actions of a Muslim that violate Islamic Law, such as Prophet Muhammad’s commandment not to kill women and children [in war][1], but when it comes to a Jew who, without mercy, murders Palestinian Muslims inside a mosque or a Christian fundamentalist who murders people from his own community, they are not called Jewish or Christian terrorists and Judaism and Christianity are not connected to ‘terror’ or any of its variations?

On hearing of the Norway attacks, various western media outlets immediately started ascribing this act to Islamists or at the very least hinting to it.  It was clear, at least to them, who the culprit was: a Muslim who is practicing ‘Islamic terrorism’. That is, until his identity was uncovered bringing with it the shocking news that he is not an Islamist—whatever that means—who was targeting Norway for a few silly cartoons depicting Islam’s Prophet Muhammad[2] and a handful of soldiers shooting at Afghani and Iraqi Muslims; Norway participated in these two wars.

News from the Abualrub-Wood/White Debates

Brother Jalal Abualrub has posted news about the debates he had this weekend with David Wood and James White on his site. He writes (formatting slightly edited),

James White Posted Parts of the Debate

Mr White said last night that the Holy Spirit is within him.  I challenge him to post the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth,  not only segments that make him look good.  The Holy Spirit is about Truth, let us not disappont him, especially since the Holy Spirit is not within any human.  I will post the entire debates for free, whole and entire!

More from Jalal Abualrub

Brother Jalal Abualrub has posted a couple of new articles to his site, both polemics against Sam Shamoun of the Answering-Islam site. The first is titled, The Unchangeability of a God Who Needed to be Changed!, which touches on some of the contradictions inherent in some of Shamoun’s words regarding God’s essence. The second is titled, Modalism or Moodalism!, touches on another Christian concept regarding God’s essence called modalism. Both articles are pretty good reads. Here are a couple of excerpts:

Jalal AbualRub: Trinity or Octagonity?

How many Gods Do Christians Have?

By Jalal Abualrub (slightly edited)

Christianity is very confusing. Christians admit that Christianity is a mystery. Christians are even more confusing than Christianity. The Old Testament and the New Testament both state that God is one: “I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God … Is there a God beside me? Yea, there is no God; I know not any” (Isaiah 44:6 & 8); “There is but one God, the Father” (1 Corinthians 8:6), but when Christians read ‘One’, they see ‘Three’. Most of mankind sees ‘One’ when they read ‘One’, but Christians see ‘Three’ when they read ‘One’. They also invoke the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, but only see ‘One’ in this ‘Trinity’! Maybe this is why Sam Shamoun gives this kind of title to this kind of article, The Incomprehensible Nature of God and his Son. Jalal Abualrub suggests changing the title to, The Incomprehensible Nature of Christianity and its Trinity.
