March 11, 2009 2 Comments
The shaikh will being going through his book titled, Arba’ūn Hadîthan ‘an ash-Shakhsiyyah al-Islâmiyyah; the book’s been translated and published by al-Hidaayah Publishing & Distribution under the title: Forty Hadeeth on The Islamic Personality. The schedule for his talks is posted on the QSSC site. For those of you who won’t be able to join us in person, the talks will also be broadcast live via audio (over PalTalk) and video (via UStream on the QSSC site). See the QSSC site for more updates and information.
In somewhat related news, QSSC’s bookstore is reopened for business. Operating hours are from after sunset prayer (maghrib) until the evening prayer (‘ishâ’).We recently got a large number of Arabic books with a large number of titles and authors to choose from; the booklist can be found on the site. We have quite a few copies of the book Shaikh Abul-Hârith will be going through in its original Arabic. I think we may be trying to get some copies of the English translation as well, but if not, I’m sure you can find it at a few of the better known bookstores around the city.
Note: There was a typo made on the flyer that I repeated here on my post. The correct date for the beginning of the conference is April 10, 2009; the 9th is on Thursday. Sorry for the mistake and any inconvenience it may have caused.
