Quote … Unquote … no. 11

In his wonderful advice titled, Rifqan Ahl as-Sunnah bi Ahl as-Sunnah, during the course of his outlining the road to safety from the turmoil currently affecting the People of the Sunnah, he mentioned that

instead of disparaging and cautioning, one [should] occupy himself with the acquisition of, the seriousness and the diligence in, the beneficial knowledge to make use and be useful, and [seek] benefit and [cause] benefit. So from the good the person has is that he occupies [himself] with knowledge, learning, teaching, calling [to Allah], writing. He does not occupy himself with disparaging the scholars and the students of knowledge from the People of the Sunnah, cutting off the path connected to benefiting from them, thus being from the people of destruction. If he mastered that, he would certainly be from the people of construction. The likes of this [person] occupied with disparaging does not leave behind knowledge he can make use of when he dies. With his death, the people do not lose a scholar [who] benefits them. Rather, with his death, they are safe from his evil.

‘Abdul-Muhsin bin Hamad al-Badr al-‘Abbâd
Rifqan Ahl as-Sunnah bi Ahl as-Sunnah, pg. 30 of my English translation (emphasis added).

  1. Yusuf says:

Take note of Footnote 92 on page 38… Shaykh Muhammad b. Muhammad al-Mukhtar ash-Shinqiti was just recently appointed as a member of Hay’at Kibaar al-‘Ulamaa’ along with Shaykh ‘Abdul-Karim al-Khudhayr – both considered innovators by those plagued with extremism.

[1] Sh. ash-Shinqiti is considered an innovator for being “mummayyi” and “Sufi” … “mummayi” i.e. fears Allah and won’t backbite Fulan b. Fulan al-Fulan without a proof to stand in front of Him on the Day of Judgment. As far as “Sufi” … have you ever heard of a Sufi who has an explanation of Kitab at-Tawhid and fatawa refuting al-Mawlid?? In reality the Shaykh is well-known as one of the leading fuqaha’ of al-Madinah with one of the largest study circles and he is known to refute real people of innovation. In fact it’s known that for a long time they wanted to appoint him, but because he was busy tending to his mother who recently passed away – may Allah have mercy on her – he was not available in the past.

[2] Sh. al-Khudhayr recently considered a “Qutubi” and “Malibari” … “Qutubi” for defending the honor of Sh. Ibn Jibrin who was described as a symbol of knowledge by Sh. Ibn ‘Uthaymin.. “Malibari” for discussing knowledge-based issues related to ‘ulum al-hadith like a person of knowledge rather than an emotional hothead.

The real question is when will they follow the scholars who are really officially from the board of Kibar al-‘Ulama and not just in the imagination of a few?

It doesn’t end with these two scholars. They pretend to respect scholars such as Sh. ‘Abdul-‘Aziz Al ash-Shaykh and Sh. ‘Abdul-‘Aziz ar-Rajhi, who both greatly praise Sh. Ibn Jibrin, Sh. ‘Abdur-Rahman al-Barrak and Sh. ‘Abdullah as-Sa’ad who are considered by these people as “takfiris” and “qutubis” – waAllahu al-Musta’an. Sh. al-Barrak is a “takfiri” … then why does he meet with the King and why was he asked by the Mufti to be from al-Lajnah?!!

I ask Allah to increase you Rasheed in these beneficial translations because for far too long, even until now, people who lack knowledge of Arabic are being deceived and that’s a huge understatement. I ask Allah to hasten the day when ad-Difa’ is translated and published.

They claim they are defending Saudi Arabia and that it is a Salafi Kingdom and on and on.. really, is that the case? Then why did the King just visit Sh. Ibn Jibrin when he was in the hospital and just appoint 2 people whom they consider from Ahl al-Bid’ah to Hay’at Kibar al-‘Ulama? Why isn’t he appointing the select few scholars that they follow? Is “their affair unclear” to him!? Of course the King is a son of Adam and no one is free of mistakes but this is absurd.

By Allah, with all of their ‘Umrah trips to Saudi Arabia you would think they would present their 1,000s of pages of PDF files to the courts and have these scholars detained to protect the masses from their harm… right? Wrong, because then they would be coming back home with many lashes. Since there is such a concern to prevent Muslims in non-Muslim countries from being mislead by these “deviants” then what about in Bilad al-Haramayn??!! Isn’t it of more importance to protect the people there?!

May Allah forgive us all. May Allah cure us of ghulu and hasad and guide us all to the Straight Path.

Just a reminder these individulas are very cunning in qouting and selecting and pasting stuff.

their usool is saying of men rather than what allah said or his prophet said…

Their scholars are few in number….

May allah guide us and them to the truth and abandon guloo, hizbiyyah and hasad.
