Shaikh Abū Anas is Here!

The praise is Allah’s, Shaikh Abū Anas arrived safely yesterday afternoon. As mentioned previously, the shaikh will be staying here for 10 days, giving lectures and talks during his visit.

The shaikh is scheduled to give the Friday sermon at QSSC today; sermon starts @ 1:30pm for those who wish to attend—please remember to park in the “Green P” lot or the side streets (Wexford Blvd. & Laxford Ave.) and avoid parking in the plaza parking lot.

The shaikh will also be giving a talk tonight after the sunset prayer (approx. 8:45pm). Talk will go on until the evening prayer (10:15pm); same deal with the parking for those wanting to attend in person.

A full schedule for the talks the shaikh will be giving has been posted to the QSSC site, so whoever wants the times of the lectures or the addresses for the mosques he’ll be visiting, please check there.

This Saturday and Sunday, the shaikh will be speaking the QSSC centre from 2-10:15pm both days. The topics of his talks will be regarding the prophetic guidance. From Monday to Thursday, the shaikh will be visiting various mosques in the GTA area. They are as follows:

  • Monday: International Muslim Organization (IMO).
  • Tuesday: Halton Islamic Association.
  • Wednesday: Jami Mosque.
  • Thursday: The Abu Huraira Centre.

Friday, again the shaikh will give the Friday sermon @ QSSC and another talk in the evening. The following Saturday and Sunday, the shaikh will again be speaking at QSSC from 2-10:15pm regarding how to protect one’s self against Jinn, magic, the evil eye, and satan.

All lectures and talks held at QSSC will be broadcasted on PalTalk for those who wish to listen from home (this includes the Friday sermons).
