Shaikh Abū Hâtim Coming to the GTA (Updated)

For those of you in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), Shaikh Abū Hâtim Usâmah bin ‘Abdil-Latîf al-Qūsî will be coming to town to give some talks @ QSSC.

The Shaikh will be in town Canada Day weekend next weekend (July 7th, and will stay until the following weekend) and will be explaining the book, Raf’ al-Malâm ‘an al-A’immah al-A’lâm, which discusses differences of opinions among the scholars of Islam, their causes, and how to deal with them.

Details for the event are on the advert pictured above. For more info call the mosque at the number given on the advert or email qsscanada AT hotmail DOT com.

Edit: This weekend’s event has been postponed due to some problems that have arose. The shaikh was unable to leave in time to get here this weekend, but praise be to Allah, he already has his visa. He will be coming next weekend and staying through to the following weekend, so rather than only having him for the four days he was originally scheduled to visit, we will have him for just a little longer than a week. Please spread the word.
